Friday, Jan 2: How to Download a YouTube Video to Your iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, or PSP

Hi everyone,

Well, for those with iPods, iTouches, iPhones, Apple TVs...well, I'm going to show you today how to download any online video onto iTunes for free - YouTube, VideoJug, MetaCafe...

So, if you want to download a YouTube video quickly and easily without having to install any software, then click here. This is made for YouTube videos only, and it doesn't work for anything else.

So, it'll give you a download popup window thing asking where you want to save the video. Just choose any place you want, that's up to you.

Alternatively, if you do not want a YouTube video, or if you only want to download it in one painless step, click here. Just follow the instructions on the website, and the video will be uploaded to your computer and it will convert it for you.

If you used the second option for downloading a video, then you are pretty much done. If you used the first option, specifically for YouTube videos, then there are several options. You can use an online file conversion service. My favorite one is this one, but there is also Media Convert. I don't recommend other online services.

If you want to go to the trouble to try and download and install something to your CPU, the best one is probably Videora iPod Converter, which also has an application of their very own to download a YouTube video; instructions for that are given on the link I just gave you.

To add your converted YouTube video to the iTunes library, open iTunes. Go to File > Add File to Library, and then find your video file and click OK. It will copy the file to iTunes, then you can go ahead and plug in your device and it will synchronize to your iPod.

Saturday, December 6: Whoa!

Sorry for no greeting, but....
WHOA! How did you change that thingy at the bottom so now it says "THIS WONDERFUL RANDOM RANT WAS GIVEN TO YOU BY ???" I mean, seriously! I have no idea how to do that! And at the very bottom of each post, how did you make it so it surveys the reactions???? I mean seriously!

On a more SERIOUS note, Ghost Host, you spelled "equation" wrong. You spelled it "equasion". You should be shamed for that terrible misspelling.

And midterms are coming up for me too! I am getting nervous about history, science, and math.

History, incidentally, is NOT my subject. Especially when you are doing New Mexico history, which is probably the most boring history in the history of the history of the United States of America. We've learned too much this semester!!!!!!!!!!

For science, I'm like you Ghost Host....I can't remember all of the parts of a cell. Wait lemme try....chloroplast, nucleus, cytoplasm, endoplasmic recticulum, ribosomes....I already forget. There are like 10 parts of a cell. At least I remember what those are!

And math, I have to remember all the postulates of inequality, equality, operations, and things like that....this is the one I'm least worried about, but still.

Friday, December 5: Final Exams - *Shivers*

Final exams on the way.

A 7th grader's worst nightmare! Especially when you go to a charter school.

I have a Latin exam. LATIN! EEK! Scary!!! And Algebra shouldn't be too bad, cause I got the 12 point question on the test today right. *Punches air yess yesssss! whoopee...!!* Lit/Comp...not too bad... it is on grammar, and that is the exact subject that most everyone drops when writing/typing emails and blog posts. I shall try not to be one of those people. Though at times, as Potions Master will assuredly elaborate on, my spelling is a little bit below par. Mmm. Yes.

Alas, alas.

*Great, now I sound like I'm speaking old english! Sooo much better!*

ANYWAYS...!

Science I'm rather worried about. I'll have to study my tail off to remember all the parts of a cell and the exact chemical equasion of Photosynthesis. Scary, but that's life. Unfortunately.

Sadly, the smiley face that adorned my wonderful black/silver lock has begun to rub off. You used to turn its nose to open the lock! Yay! Fun! Haha . . . . Now its a one-eyed lock.

Hiya there!

I know this is 2 posts in a row, but Ghost Host has been busy lately...so, the "updates" (as mentioned in the title of the post) are just that if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, I embedded 4 videos from YouTube, all related to math!!!! First, the polygon song by Peter Weatherall. It is annoying, so I strongly suggest you don't watch it more than once unless you really love it. The next three are Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land, Parts 1, 2, and 3 (that's basically the whole thing). I don't think Mathmagic Land is available in normal video anymore, only on YouTube. Monday, November 3: Talking to Myself. Again. Big Surprise!!!

Okay, that wasn't really that good of a subject. But what else was I supposed to do???? My goodness....um....yeah. Big surprise!!! I am talking to myself again. And yeah, Ghost Host, that was pretty awesome. It rhymed.

Updates on random books that we like and such:
The Leven Thumps series by Obert Skye - Book 4, The Wrath of Ezra, is out! Yeah. I don't have it yet but I ordered it and hopefully I will get it.
And also, Pillage by Obert Skye is out. I don't really know what it's about, just about dragons because there is a picture of one on the cover. I saw this all at Borders, by the way. And finally....

Monday, October 20: Talking to Myself

Hi Ghost Host!

Well, nothing much today, as it's still only 8:12:43 in the morning....oh, 8:12:45....never mind, that is too tedious a job to tell you the time every second, as you probably won't be reading this post until like....later.

So, like Ghost Host said in the previous post, we'll be posting random musings on this blog. Well, if Ghost Host is able, we'll take turns every weekday giving a post updating each other on what we did. Does that make sense? Well, we'll only do it if we're able to get on the Internet every other day. But yeah.

Anyway, I'll just tell you about yesterday - I woke up at like.....6:00 to go to church, then at 11:45 we had lunch and then my sister went to go to this music rehearsal thing for two hours, and then I got home and was basically practicing my musical instruments and doing some math homework and....yeah.

And then on Saturday, I went to a music rehearsal thing for three hours, and then I got home and was basically eating lunch and chilling, but then I had this potluck thing for karate at 6:30, so that was fun and yeah....

Oh yeah. If you're wondering why I'm posting at 8:18 in the morning (yes, the time changed again), it's because my school is on fall break for two weeks starting today, Monday! So I am just chilling on the computer I guessers. That is my update today.

P.S. Oh yeah, I slept with my hair really wet last night and now it is all poofy and all over the place. It is actually kind of fun sleeping with your hair wet. You should try it sometime!

P.P.S. And since you said we were gonna post random math formulas, here are some:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Oh yeah, ^ means exponent because yeah. The computer can't do the raised writing thing. That was the Pythagorean Theorem, which is the formula to find the hypotenuse of a right triangle, where c = the hypotenuse, and a and b = the other sides....that are not the hypotenuse. Well how about this: I'll just give you a picture on the right. Get it now? Well yeah....never mind. I'm probably wasting your time. Well no, more accurately I am wasting my time.... I'll stop wasting all of our times. Well yeah. This is my "random musing" of the day I guess................waiting for this to be long enough....oh yeah, and also, I wanted to say that pi rules!! Like pi is a big time ruler of the whole world. Without pi there would be, like, nothing. And there wouldn't be pie. That's the big thing...I'll stop ranting now....
